Even though they were only gone for two nights, I don't know if I've ever missed my two small people so much. Clint and I were SO excited for them to get back and celebrate Christmas with us. Luckily, we had gotten through to Santa at the North Pole and given him the memo to hold off on Christmas for one day for us. So as soon as Papa, Ahh and the kids arrived, we had a wonderful dinner and then changed into our Christmas PJs and got ready for Santa to come. We read the Christmas story in the Bible...
...and the Night Before Christmas.
And put out cookies, milk, and a card for Santa. Trying to keep Evie away from Santa's cookie was one of the bigger challenges of the evening...
And then the two exhausted children headed to bed, very excited to see if Santa would come while they were sleeping!
