Clint and I took to the kids on an impromptu trip to Klyde Warren Park and completely forgot about a key feature of the park--the splash pad! We quickly realized that it would be torture to keep them out of the water, so we stripped them down to their diapers (fairly embarrassing, but we didn't see anyone we knew :) and let them go crazy.
And go crazy he did!
Miss E was a little more cautious. She loved running over the water and watching Charlie run around, but didn't venture too far in on her own. She would have been just fine in her clothes. :)
Charlie LOVED the water and totally went wild. He was soaking wet, and his diaper was out of control (pics to come).
Saggiest, fullest diaper ever.
Charlie made an unsuccessful attempt to persuade Evie to run through the sprinklers with him...
She was quite relieved to have gotten away.
We had to coax Charlie out of the water at this point because we were afraid he would lose his diaper. :)
Once we were back in dry clothes, we did a little spinning...
...climbing...
...and playing in the treehouse.
What a fun way to spend the morning!
