I know I post WAY too often about our zoo trips, but my kids and I just love the Dallas zoo. Our pass has been one of the best purchases we have made. We took a trip there with some friends one morning over Spring Break. We almost turned around when we saw how crowded the parking lot was, but Charlie was devastated when he heard we may not be going. So we braved the crowds for him, and I was so glad--it wasn't crowded at all once inside!
The penguins were swimming...always a treat.
Our only disappointment was that the giraffes weren't eating. [Seriously, giraffes...who can get full on lettuce??]
The bakke (jeep) is always a highlight for Charlie. This time, pretend lions were chasing him as he drove.
The carousel is always Evie's favorite part. She goes nuts when she sees it, and is so cute and happy while she's on it. She threw a huge tantrum when we had to get off, but it's so worth it to see her having so much fun!
