The kids' school has the best carnival every year, so we were very excited when the big day came around this year. It was made even better by the fact that Daddy got to join us for part of it this year. This thing has every bounce structure you can imagine, as well as a train, pony rides (with glittery manes and tails), games, and food trucks. It is pretty awesome. For Charlie, it doesn't get much better.
Charlie thought he'd try Evie's bow on before we left. I let him look at himself in the mirror and he thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen! He looked at himself and laughed for at least 5 minutes. :)
The fearless cowboy on his horse. The girls in line were all fighting over the white pony with the pink sparkly mane, but luckily, Charlie was all about the "big brown horse" (brown is his current favorite color). I tried to get Evie to ride, but she wanted nothing to do with those (apparently very frightening) ponies.
Charlie LOVED the bungee trampoline. He even got to do a flip! Even better than the actual experience: watching the iPhone videos of himself on the bungee trampoline. :)
Charlie's favorite thing at any event is always this giant slide. He could do this for hours. Evie and I did it a couple of times, but she was glad when I decided we were done.
There weren't too many activities for Evie at the carnival, but she did finally get into the bounce house obstacle course. She didn't actually complete the obstacle course on her own, but she loved the first bouncy area. Her favorite part was making faces at Daddy through the netting. :)
Gorgeous!
