Ski Show

The kids and I headed down to Seguin for a few days of R&R recently.  One of our many activities there was the ski show at Lake Breeze Ski Lodge one night.  I have such fun memories of this from growing up and it was so fun to take the kids.  They were quite impressed with the skiing and loved getting to eat outside and run around like little crazies together.  Charlie was a bit concerned when a little girl, about Jackson's age, chased him around and refused to stop.  Charlie later declared that "when I'm a big girl, I'm going to chase Jackson too!" 

Here are 4 of the cousins together, getting ready for the show.  I loved the various reactions to the kids skiing: Julia wants to start learning to ski immediately, Katie plans to learn when she's a teenager, and Charlie just wants to skip the learning part and go straight to the jumps. :)

 This little girl loved the show, but spent most of her time on her new favorite pastime: flirting with older boys.  She found a group of 8 and 9-year-old boys that she found quite enthralling, and she was beyond thrilled when they noticed her.  She thought she was SO big and important. :)
